Lunch Hours

Lunch Hours is a first-person runner game set in a Chinese middle school during lunchtime break. Players take on the role of a hungry student racing to the cafeteria before other classmates. 

The school hallways are crowded with desks, books, and rushing students, and even dialogue bubbles, creating chaotic and humorous gameplay scenarios. The player must navigate through three lanes while avoiding obstacles such as desks, book stacks, and other students. 

By using movement mechanics including dodging, jumping, and crouching, players attempt to reach the cafeteria as quickly as possible. The game focuses on speed, reaction, and environmental awareness. Through simple but fast-paced gameplay, Runch recreates the nostalgic and relatable experience of rushing to the cafeteria during school lunchtime. The game emphasizes quick reflexes and environmental awareness while capturing the humor and nostalgia of school life.
